Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have found common ground in the midst of change. The exes are moving forward with kindness, focusing on their kids and setting respectful boundaries as they enter a new chapter.

The source added that the two “have both moved on.”
Prioritizing Family While Moving On
Alba, 44, and Warren, 46, have three children together: daughters Honor, 17, and Haven, 14, and son Hayes, 7. According to the insider, the pair agreed on “clear boundaries when it comes to their kids meeting new significant others.”
“[They] both agreed to keep things separately for now,” the source explains, noting that neither wants anything serious at this stage. “It’s working right now.”
A Respectful Separation After 16 Years
News broke in January that the couple had split after 16 years of marriage. Alba confirmed the news in an Instagram statement on January 16, writing, “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
The following month, both Alba and Warren filed for divorce, listing their separation date as December 27, 2024. Despite the legal process still being ongoing, a source close to the family insists, “It’s not a contentious situation. It won’t be dragged out.”
The actress has maintained her admiration for Warren’s role as a dad despite their divorce.
“Happy Father’s Day, @cash_warren,” she wrote in a June Instagram Stories message. “Our babies couldn’t have a better dad — warm, kind, present, always knowing just what to say. I admire your patience and the way you hold space for them. Making them feel safe and light after every conversation. Thank you for being their rock.”
New Beginnings for Both
Since the split, both Alba and Warren have begun exploring new relationships. In July, Alba was spotted returning from a getaway in Mexico with actor Danny Ramirez, 32, sparking romance speculation. “She is having a lot of fun in this new era,” a source told Us Weekly, noting it’s not yet serious but enjoyable for her. Since then, the couple has been spotted on multiple outings enjoying quality time together.
Warren also appears to be moving on. In August, he was photographed holding hands with actress Hana Sun Doerr, 25, during a dinner outing in Los Angeles.
Through it all, communication between Alba and Warren has remained positive. “The communication between them has been great,” the insider adds. “Jessica and Cash promised to keep normalcy for the kids and still do things as a family.”
