Linda Hogan, the ex-wife of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, is mourning his death with a tearful tribute. Days after the WWE Hall of Famer passed away at 71, Linda revisited an Instagram post from earlier in July, sharing raw reflections on their relationship.
“It’s so hard to know he’s just gone,” Linda wrote on Monday. “I had no idea he would pass away this soon. We all really thought he would make a comeback.” She continued, “I loved Hulkster more than he loved me… It hurt when he cheated. But he was sooo famous. I sort of understood but it was crushing. It hurt. I never got over him or started a real relationship with anyone… I missed HIM!”
“You Were My Man”: Linda Shares Her Grief
Linda, 65, described weeping all day since learning of Hulk’s passing and shared how their long history remains close to her heart. “I’ve known him since he was 28. I was 22,” she wrote. “We spent every minute together for so many years.”

Though the former couple had grown apart, divorcing in 2009 and exchanging public barbs in recent years. Linda said she still felt they were a family through their kids. “Even though I never spoke or saw him, Nick did… I still felt… although broken… we still were a family.”
Her tribute ended with, “I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP.”
Hulk Hogan’s Health Before His Passing

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died after suffering cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida, home on Thursday, July 24. TMZ confirmed he was taken by ambulance and died at the hospital.
His death followed weeks of speculation surrounding his health. Radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge claimed Hogan was in the ICU and near death in mid-June—rumors later denied by Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily, and close friend Eric Bischoff.
On July 11, Sky issued a statement debunking the coma and brain damage rumors, assuring fans that Hulk was recovering from neck surgery. His sudden death, just two weeks later, shocked fans worldwide.
Sky Daily Calls Hulk’s Death “Sudden” & “Impossible to Process”

In her own tribute, Sky Daily, Hogan’s wife at the time of his death, called the loss “sudden” and “impossible to process.” “I wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is in pieces,” she wrote on Instagram. “To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”
