How Many Episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Are Left?

While Game of Thrones gets more and more exciting, we’re also facing some bad news at the same time, making this season a little bittersweet. We’re more than halfway to the end.

Tonight we’re watching Episode 5 and there are only seven episodes in the season.

Yes, that means that after tonight, there will only be two episodes of Game of Thrones left. These will be extra long episodes, with the finale clocking in at 81 minutes. But that won’t do a lot to ease the pain of the season ending early. After that, we’ll likely be waiting a year for the final season, which will only be six episodes long.

Of course, that doesn’t mean we can’t really enjoy this season! It just means that the better the season gets, the more we’ll be missing it after it’s gone.
