“Gossip Girl” alum and “You” star Penn Badgley is going to be a dad again, and he just found out that this time, it’s twins!
“Babies #3 and #4 coming this summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST! Spontaneous twins are beyond magical. We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley,” Badglely’s wife, musician Domino Kirke-Badgley, wrote in an Instagram post on February 28, 2025.
Kirke capped off her announcement with a heart and two baby emojis. She revealed in a hashtag that the children are mono di twins, which means that they are identical and share a placenta, but each have their own amniotic sac, per Columbia University.
A few weeks before the surprise announcement, Kirke foreshadowed her pregnancy news with a February 10 post in which she discussed the first single from her new LP, saying, “For me, this song is about never being able to go back to “normal” after you become a parent, let alone after two or more children! IYKYK.”
Badgley is already the father of a son, age 4. He is also a stepfather to his wife’s first son, Cassius, who was born in 2009.

Badgely and Kirke, who is a doula at Carriage House Birth along with her music career, welcomed their first child during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Badgley considered the lockdown birth a blessing in disguise, as the global standstill allowed the new parents to soak up plenty of special time with their little bundle.
Speaking to “The Jess Cagle Show” in October 2021, Badgley said of the tumultuous times, “The great bounty that I got out of it is that our baby has only been with us.
The actor went to say that his son was “very happy” to be cocooned at home with his parents, adding, “we had the opportunity to be with him in a way we wouldn’t have.”
The star concluded, “So that is a strange blessing in it all. I am having such a joyful experience as a father. Even being a father in a pandemic has still been a joy somehow.”
Badgley’s wife seems to share his love for being a parent, calling it “the highest art form” while talking to Rolling Stone in February 2025.
Domino Kirke spoke to the magazine about balancing motherhood with making music.
“I need time to create at my own pace. I need to allow my love of music to seep into all areas of my life. Parenting is the highest art form, I believe this through and through today,” she said in an interview to promote her new LP, “The Most Familiar Star,” which will release April 18, according to the Rolling Stone exclusive.

The fifth and final season of the popular stalker drama will hit Netflix on April 24, according the streaming site.
In February 2025, fans voted in a Reddit poll about what they think the final season will bring for Badgley’s villainous character, Joe Goldberg.
The leading predictions were that Goldberg would end up either dead, possibly killed by one of the characters he has wronged, or in prison.
One fan guessed, “I think Marianne and Nadia will kill him.”
Badgley also seems to think these were some of the top possibilities. He explained in a March 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “As much as we like watching the arc of Joe, we also want him to be brought to justice. But, death or prison? Are they that satisfying?”
