Demi Lovato Set to Tie the Knot: REPORT

Demi Lovato has plans to get married to her fiancé Jordan Lutes in the upcoming weeks, TMZ reported on May 14. A source told the publication that they’re planning to tie the knot on Memorial Day Weekend.

Lovato and songwriter Lutes got engaged in December 2023 after meeting in January 2022 while co-writing “Substance,” per People.

The former Disney star was presented with a custom-made pear-shaped diamond ring and then celebrated the proposal with friends and family in Los Angeles.

On February 14, Lovato shared a carousel of pictures on Instagram of the two, and wrote, “Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!!”

“The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that. I’m obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can’t wait to grow old with you and start a family together. Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life. I love you honey!!!” she gushed.

Lovato Says She Had Instant Sparks When Meeting Lutes

Lovato revealed that she felt a spark the moment she saw Lutes for the first time. “He came to write on one of my sessions, and I was in the studio, and I was like, immediately attracted to him,” she said on “The Howard Stern Show” in September 2023.

She added, “He has the best personality. We laugh non-stop.” When asked by Stern if she saw a future marriage with him, Lovato replied, “Yeah, I think so.”

“We started out as friends, so we built that foundation of friendship first,” she continued. “There’s like this partnership there that is just so magnetic … I think if you can find someone that makes you feel safe, that you’re so attracted to, that you laugh with constantly, that’s a formula of a really great relationship.”

Lutes is Supportive of Lovato’s Career

Lovato stepped out for the premiere of her directorial debut “Child Star” in September 2024, with Lutes alongside her as support, People reported.

“You know, I’ve waited my whole life for him and to have him be a part of this just makes it that much more sweet,” she told the publication.

Lovato continued, “It’s very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring. And so, you know, it’s very easy to stay centered with him because I just — I love him so much and he treats me so amazing.”
