List of Celebrities Who Lost Their Homes in California Fire: ‘We Will Get Through This’

The list of celebrities who lost their homes in the California wildfires ranges from Paris Hilton to Mel Gibson.

Celebrities took to social media to share their profound sadness, but they also thanked first responders and firefighters and expressed gratitude that their families were safe. The celebrities whose homes were destroyed include Billy Crystal, Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, John Goodman, Miles Teller, Melissa Rivers, and Cary Elwes.

Actor James Woods initially thought his house was destroyed, then he discovered it was not.

“A miracle has happened. We managed to get to our property and our home, that we were told is gone forever, is still standing. In this hellish landscape ‘standing’ is relative, but smoke and other damage is not like the utter destruction around us. The view from our deck area,” he wrote on X.

Others, such as actress Jamie Lee Curtis, mourned the loss of their communities but shared that their own houses were spared.

Here is a list of celebrities whose homes burned down with photos and videos:

Paris Hilton

Hilton posted on her Instagram page that she watched her Malibu home burn to the ground “on live TV.” However, she also expressed gratitude that her family and pets were safe and thanked first responders and firefighters.

The “Princess Bride” star wrote on Instagram, “Sadly we did lose our home but we are grateful to have survived this truly devastating fire.”
