“Mountainside,” Carys captioned the post, adding, “Special swimsuits made by such a special person @vivianethibes,” along with a mountain emoji, the Brazilian flag, and a green heart.
In one shot, Carys shielded her eyes from the sun as she posed on her knees. In another, she sat with her arms folded on her knees, eyes closed, as the sunlight bathed her face and body.
Life After Graduation From Brown University
Carys is enjoying her summer following her graduation from Brown University in May, where she earned a degree in film and international relations. The proud moment was celebrated by her parents, who both shared photos from the big day.

Zeta-Jones commented on one of her daughter’s graduation posts and wrote: “So proud of you. What a milestone. Congratulations, sweetheart ❤️”
Carys wore a flowing white gown for the event, while her dad sported a navy suit and her mom a sleek black pantsuit.
Celebrating Film Festivals & Milestones
Since graduation, Carys has been keeping busy with travels and appearances. In June, she attended the Champs-Elysées Film Festival in Paris, celebrating independent women in film.
“Spent this past weekend celebrating incredible women and their incredible films!” she wrote on Instagram, thanking Cartier for styling her with “beautiful sparkles” for the occasion.
She also shared gratitude for her close friends and fellow creatives who joined her at the event, adding “biggest kisses” to her caption.
Family Celebrations With the Douglases
The Douglas family has had plenty to celebrate this summer. On August 8, Carys shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her brother Dylan Douglas, who turned 25.
“25 YEARS OF DYLAN D. This photo sums it up — me in pink and combat boots, you in full top and tails, walking towards the sea. Happy birthday, dear brother. I’m so lucky I get to do life with you,” she captioned a sweet throwback.
