Brittany Mahomes Is a Fitness Entrepreneur, Influencer, and Major Player In Kansas City Sports

Brittany Matthews, also known as Mrs. Mahomes, was born on August 31, 1995, in Whitehouse, Texas. Like her husband, she is an athlete; Brittany played soccer at the University of Texas while earning a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology before establishing her own fitness company, Brittany Lynne Fitness, which offers guided workout programs.

In 2021, she helped launch the Kansas City Current as an expansion team in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), becoming a co-owner alongside Mahomes. The team has quickly gained momentum, building a passionate fan base and even breaking ground on the first stadium in the U.S. built specifically for a women’s pro soccer team. Brittany and Patrick are frequently seen in the stands at KC Current games, enthusiastically cheering on the team and reinforcing their commitment to growing women’s sports.

So, how did these two lovebirds meet? You have to rewind to 2011 when Patrick was just a freshman at Whitehouse High School with big NFL dreams. He and Brittany started as friends, but a simple Valentine’s Day card and a rose in the school cafeteria changed everything—Brittany suddenly saw him as more than just a friend, according to US Weekly. They began dating shortly after and stayed together through college, even while attending different schools.

Patrick proposed in September 2020, the same day he got his first Super Bowl Ring. But before tying the knot, they welcomed their first child, Sterling Skye, in February 2021. Their lavish wedding followed in March 2022, and their family continued to grow with the arrival of Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III in November 2022 and, most recently, Golden Raye in January 2025.

In addition to their three little ones, the Mahomes household is also home to their beloved dogs, Steel and Silver, who have been part of their family since their early years together.
