Brad Pitt may be a legend in action films, with a résumé full of car chases, shootouts, and bare-knuckle brawls. However, there’s one place he draws the line: the sky.

The Oscar-winning actor has revealed the one condition that needs to be met before he ever teams up with Tom Cruise again on screen—and let’s just say it’s very down-to-earth.
Brad Pitt Just Gave a Hilarious Update on His Potential Reunion With Tom Cruise
In a new interview with E! News, which aired on June 12, Pitt joked about the one condition he has for working with his Interview with the Vampire co-star, Tom Cruise, again.

“I’m not gonna hang my ass off airplane [and] s–t like that,” the F1 actor said, adding that he’d consider reuniting with Cruise “when he does something again that’s on the ground.”
It’s a playful nod to Cruise’s well-known love for high-risk stunts—especially in the Mission: Impossible franchise.
Brad Pitt Just Revealed What He Raced Against Tom Cruise
Pitt and Cruise starred together in 1994’s “Interview with the Vampire“, and according to Pitt, they had a bit of a racing rivalry on set.
“We raced go-karts,” he recalled. “He got me in the end. I gotta admit.”
Tom has nothing but love for Brad in return. During a Paramount panel in April, Cruise praised Pitt’s skills behind the wheel, especially as the F1 film nears release.
“He’s very good. He’s a very good driver,” Cruise said. “Believe me, I’ve raced against him.”
Brad Pitt Reveals Quirky Rituals He Followed on F1 Set
Aside from his grounded stunt rule, Pitt also revealed some quirky habits while filming F1. The 61-year-old actor said he has a few OCD-like rituals he follows daily.

“Before getting in the car, I always have to get in on the left side,” he told E!. “I have to put my left shoe on first, I’d have to put my left glove on first.”
Even the pit crew knew the drill. “The guys knew they had to do left first,” he said. “If they didn’t, we had to start over.”
F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) and produced with the help of real-life Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, premieres in theaters on June 27. The film also stars Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and more.
