Hot on the heels of her big Grammys wins for Best Album of the Year and Best Country Album of the Year, Beyonce made a major announcement on her Instagram page.
The artist announced a series of tour dates for her “Cowboy Carter Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour.” The locations will be Los Angeles, Chicago, London, New York, Houston, Paris, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Las Vegas, according to the Instagram post.
“SHE COMING,” the caption read. The post went live in the early morning hours of February 3. The specific dates for each tour stop were published on Beyonce’s website. The tour kicks off on April 28 in Los Angeles, California. It concludes in Atlanta on July 11.
“And we will be whenever she’s going,🔥” a fan wrote on Beyonce’s comment thread.
Beyonce Said She Was ‘in Shock’ After Winning Best Album of the Year

The cameras captured Beyonce’s look of surprise when presenter Taylor Swift announced that she had won the Country Album of the Year honor. She then won the best album of the year prize also.
“Genre is a cold word to keep us in our place as artists,” Beyonce said from the stage, according to the Associated Press. “I’m still in shock. Thank you so much for this honor.”
According to the AP, Beyonce was the first Black artist to win album of the year in the 21st century, and only the fourth Black woman to ever win the award. The last was Lauryn Hill 26 years ago, according to AP.
Beyonce Is the ‘Most Decorated Grammy Winner of All Time,’ Reports Say

According to NPR, Beyonce is “the “most decorated Grammy winner of all time — with 35 wins in 99 nominations.”
However, until February 2, she had not won the best album of the year. That caused controversy as well as the snub of her “Cowboy Carter” album at the Country Music Awards. She won Best Country Album of the Year at this year’s Grammys in addition to best album of the year, NPR noted.
Taylor Swift, who lost to Beyonce in the Best Album of the Year category, was the presenter who gave Beyonce the honor for Best Country Album of the Year.
