Sabrina Carpenter is feeling under the weather, but she’s not letting that get in the way of taking a Vogue-worthy selfie! The “Espresso” singer shared with her fans via Instagram that she was feeling “sick like [a] dog” moments before taking the stage in Glasgow, Scotland, on March 11, according to People.
“I am sick like dog,” Carpenter wrote on Instagram Stories. “But I can’t wait for tonight Glasgow 🌻.”
The 25-year-old’s Instagram Story also featured her rocking a leopard print headscarf in a makeup-free selfie, which showed off her flawless skin.
Turns out, her fans barely noticed that Carpenter was sick because she did such an amazing job onstage.
“She said … she’s sick tonight and she’s still performing amazing 😭,” one fan commented via TikTok.
“This what how she looks & sings when sick..? No fair lol. Hope she feels better soon!” another person wrote.
Right now, Carpenter is in the middle of the U.K. leg of her sold-out Short n’ Sweet Tour, which wraps on July 6, 2025 before the artist returns to the U.S. for the remaining dates from October 23-November 23.

Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour kicked off in Columbus, Ohio, on September 23, 2024. In a January 2025 interview with People, Carpenter reflected on her newfound success thanks to her breakthrough hit “Espresso.”
“I’ve always been true to myself and believed in my work since I was young,” she told People. “I’ve realized that it’s always been about the small baby steps that you take over time to get you to this point.”
She added, “I don’t think I have fully reflected yet, as I’m also trying to be present in the moment.”

In honor of Carpenter’s deluxe edition of her album “Short n’ Sweet,” which dropped on February 14, aka Valentine’s Day, she recruited none other than Dolly Parton. The deluxe version includes several new songs, including a remix of Carpenter’s chart-topper “Please Please Please,” which scored a nomination for Song of the Year at the 2025 Grammys on Feb. 2, 2025.
The music video, which features Parton, is an ode to 1991’s now-iconic “Thelma and Louise” film, starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis.
Carpenter shared some behind-the-scene footage of her and Parton meeting for the first time via Instagram. The 79-year-old country music icon Parton joked that Carpenter will “be this old someday,” to which she replied, “I know, I can’t wait! I hope I look like you!”
