Ciara is heading into her tenth season as a WAG, as husband Russell Wilson prepares for his first season on the New York Giants. Spotrac says the former Seahawk signed a 1-year contract with the team which guarantees him $10.5 million.
On May 30, 2025, 22-year-old Jaxson Dart signed a rookie contract with the Giants, according to Giants.com. The former Ole Miss quarterback was the overall 25th pick in the 2025 draft.
What Did Russell Wilson Say About Jaxson Dart?
On June 5, a quote from Wilson made rounds that revealed how he feels about the presence of the young rookie’s presence on the team.
Fox Sports reports the 2014 Super Bowl champion said, “It doesn’t change anything at all.” He named “leading everybody” and “being my best everyday” as his biggest priorities.
In an May 2025 SI interview, Dart talked about how things are going for him so far with the Giants. “Right now I’m still trying to just learn an offense, get integrated into the system, you know, the coaching staff as well as the locker room. So that’s really lately been on my mind,” he told the mag.
The Giants are the third team to which Wilson has signed since being traded by the Seahawks to the Broncos in 2022. An April 2025 SI article pointed out that Dart could potentially create competition for Wilson’s job, bluntly calling him one of the “biggest losers” from Round 1 of the draft. The story explains that Wilson will “ideally” start during the 2025 season as Dart “eases his way” into the NFL environment.
However, it also says that if Wilson falters, the Giants will be under pressure to play Dart.
Ciara Dropped New Remix With Normani & Teyana Taylor
On June 6, 2025, the R&B songstress used her Instagram page to announce that a remix of her song “Ecstasy” had just been released.
“ITS THE REMIX!!!” she wrote, before adding, “ECSTASY remix out now. She called the former Fifth Harmony member and the “How You Want It?” singer “two of the flyest girls in history.”
The mother of four also declared, “To all my ladies, let’s turn it up one time!”
Normani took to her own Instagram Stories to reflect on the song’s video, calling it an “out of body experience.” She captioned another clip, “Let’s gooooo.”
Ciara’s newest album, “CiCi,” drops August 22. In a May 4 post, she described the project as a “love letter” and “celebration of the journey. She told her fans they have “stuck by me through every era, every evolution, and every independent leap of faith.”
