Post Malone Brings Out Noah Kahan for Surprise Mid-Concert Duet

Post Malone gave fans an unforgettable night when he invited Noah Kahan on stage for a surprise performance of their fan-favorite duet “Dial Drunk.” The collaboration took place at the Walmart Associates Celebration held at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Though the event was meant to be a private celebration for Walmart employees and higher-ups, the footage somehow managed to pop up online! The video shows a special live rendition of the hit song, as the crowd excitedly sings along to every word.

This marks the second time the two artists have performed the track together live. The duet version of “Dial Drunk” was released in June 2023 as part of the extended edition of Kahan’s critically acclaimed third studio album, “Stick Season,” which originally dropped in 2022.

The surprise performance quickly went viral on TikTok, where fans couldn’t get enough of the genre-blending moment. One user commented, “Post Malone and Folk Malone just having fun,” while another wrote, “I deserve to be there. I love them ahhh!”

The song itself paints a vivid picture of chaotic and emotional vulnerability. It captures restless nights spent drinking alone and longing for someone who won’t return your affection. Both Kahan and Malone lean into the heartbreak, delivering lyrics with a raw, aching honesty that fans clearly connect with.

Kahan and Malone Reflect on Their Collaboration

Following the release of the duet, Kahan shared his gratitude on social media. Not only to Malone but to fans as well, calling it a dream come true.

“The reaction to ‘Dial Drunk’ has been so incredible and so overwhelming,” he wrote. “I never know when or why a song is going to land, and to see the meaning and connection you have drawn from this track has inspired me in a way I have never been inspired before. You can only imagine my shock and excitement when Post told me he wanted to not only sing on it but write his own verse.”

He added, “I have been listening to Post Malone since ‘White Iverson’ dropped, even covering ‘Congratulations’ right when my career was beginning. It feels like a full-circle moment, and it has been a dream come true to make this collaboration happen. Thank you so much, Post, for blessing me with your involvement.”

Malone responded with equal enthusiasm, praising Kahan for his artistry. “Thank YOU Noah Kahan. I am so honored to be a part of this record with you, sir. You are a fucking talent for the ages, and I love you so very much, milord. Keep fucking crushing it.”
