The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2025 are upon us! The prestigious and fun event (yes, there will be slime, 5,000 gallons of it) will be held on Saturday, June 21, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. With an impressive lineup of performers, a bunch of awards to get through, and hosted by singer Tyla, there is a lot to look forward to this evening.

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2025 Schedule

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2025 will air at 8:00 p.m. ET live on Nickelodeon. It can also be streamed across TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, MTV2, and CMT.

No schedule has been announced to determine the order of awards and performances. But we do know that it’s going to be a big year. Paul Medford from Nickelodeon commented on the decor in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “We’ve filled this room with decor that only kids might dream up — the dozens and dozens of pool inflatables, different shapes and sizes, rigged around the child’s imagination,” he said. “If they were going to throw a party, we’re throwing it from their point of view. Medford also revealed that there will be some blue slime this year!

Voting is closed, but it began on May 15, and fans determine the results. The statement from the network reveals that there will be “star-studded collaborations, legendary skateboarding stunts, the latest in music with high-energy dancing; and Nickelodeon’s signature orange blimp trophy and epic slimings,” Deadline reports.

Who Is Nominated & Who Will Perform?

MGK has been announced as one of the performers for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. He will perform “cliché,” from his upcoming album “Lost Americana,” Billboard reports. Also performing will be KATSEYE with the track, “Gnarly.”

Fans vote for the awards and cover a range of categories, including film, music, and television. This year, some of the highlights of the 35 categories will include Favorite Music Collaboration with nominations including “Slow Motion” (Marshmello and Jonas Brothers), “Please Please Please” (Sabrina Carpenter Ft. Dolly Parton) “Die With A Smile” (Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars), “Call Me When You Break Up” (Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco with Gracie Abrams), “Luther” (Kendrick Lamar and SZA) and APT (Rose and Bruno Mars).

Other top categories to watch out for are Favorite Female Breakout, Favorite Male Breakout Artist, and Favorite Animated Movie. With four nominations each, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar lead the pack. Several celebrities will also be celebrating their first nomination; this list includes Zach Bryan, Jordan Chiles, Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, and Shaboozey.
