Country singer Kane Brown recently took the stage in Nashville to perform at Travis Kelce’s Tight Ends & Friends concert. However, during the set, he brought out Taylor Swift as a special guest. Naturally, the crowd went wild when they heard the two sing her hit, “Shake It Off.”
Following the Nashville performance, Kane Brown posted a playful jab at Taylor Swift to commemorate their performance.
Kane Brown Joked About Taylor Swift Being the Special Guest
As mentioned, Kane Brown was one of the many singers to hit the stage at Travis Kelce’s Tight Ends & Friends concert. According to Page Six, Kane teased a “really, really special guest” toward the end of his part of the concert.
From there, out walked none other than Taylor Swift herself. Clearly in the mood to put on a show, she asked the crowd, “Theoretically, how loud can we get?” She then dedicated her performance “to our favorite players who are going to play, and these are the tight ends.”
They then began to sing her 2014 smash hit single, “Shake It Off.” It’s important to note that this is the “Folklore” singer’s first performance since she announced that she bought back the masters to her music.
Regarding Kane Brown’s playful jab, he took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself along with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. He captioned it, “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not.”
Tight End University Has Been Around For Years
Travis Kelce founded Tight End University in 2021 alongside NFL player George Kittle and sportscaster Greg Olsen. Essentially, it is an annual three-day training camp for football players.
According to the Tight End University website, the camp is intended for players to “bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities, including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more.” Travis is clearly very involved with the camp.
Regarding the concert, Kane Brown and Taylor Swift weren’t the only two performers who took the stage. The list also includes the likes of Sophia Scott, Graham Barham, Chase Rice, Jordan Davis, and Luke Combs.
Notably, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift attended the opening ceremony for the Tight End University together. They even posed for pictures at the event, and at one point, Taylor photobombed Travis and Tommy Banker. All in all, it seems that everyone involved had a great time.
