Johnny Depp Joins Alice Cooper for Epic Live Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne [VIDEO]

Fans at Alice Cooper’s sold-out London show on July 25 didn’t just get a rock concert. People witnessed a powerful moment of love, loss & legacy. Just days after Ozzy Osbourne’s passing, Johnny Depp stepped onto the stage to help honor the music icon in the most fitting way: with a raw, emotional performance that brought the crowd to its feet and tears to many eyes.

The actor-musician, 62, appeared mid-performance of Black Sabbath’s 1970 classic “Paranoid,” strumming guitar alongside Cooper and the band.

Cooper, 77, wore an Osbourne T-shirt for the occasion, raising his fist to the crowd as the song concluded, prompting chants of “Ozzy! Ozzy!” across the O2 Arena.

A Tribute Fit for a Rock Legend

The powerful performance came just three days after Osbourne’s death was announced.

The 76-year-old metal icon passed away surrounded by loved ones in his hometown of Birmingham after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

In a concert interview with Planet Rock, Cooper reflected on the shocking news.

“I was on my way to the stage when I heard about it,” he said. “Even though you know it’s coming … what a shock to the system.”

Depp & Cooper Reunite for Historic Performance

After the tribute, Depp stayed onstage for one more number, “School’s Out,” joined by original Alice Cooper bandmates Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Michael Bruce. The performance also marked the release of Cooper’s new album, ‘The Revenge of Alice Cooper’, his first full-length LP with the original band in over 50 years.

Cooper and Depp have long performed together in their supergroup Hollywood Vampires, which also features Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen.

Speaking with BBC Radio’s The Scott Mills Breakfast Show, Cooper paid further tribute to Osbourne.
“He was a lifer,” Cooper said.

Just weeks before his passing, Ozzy Osbourne shared one final, unforgettable moment with his Black Sabbath bandmates — reuniting in their hometown of Birmingham for a powerful farewell.

The “Back to the Beginning” charity concert brought together rock legends like Metallica, Slayer, Tool, Gojira & Guns N’ Roses. Still, it was Ozzy who stole the spotlight, performing solo hits while seated on a dramatic black-winged throne.

The emotional night wasn’t just a goodbye; it raised funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice, Birmingham Children’s Hospital & Cure Parkinson’s, giving fans one last glimpse of the Prince of Darkness in all his glory.
