Freddie Mercury allegedly has a secret daughter, according to a new biography of the Queen frontman. Biographer Lesley-Ann Jones dropped the bombshell revelation in her upcoming book, “Love, Freddie,” which details the singer’s supposed relationship with his daughter.

The book claims the secret child was conceived accidentally during an affair with the wife of Mercury’s close friend in 1976. Despite the situation being kept under wraps, the singer is said to have a close relationship with his daughter, known only as “B.”

Daily Mail reported that the truth about Mercury’s daughter was only known by a few people, including his longtime love, Mary Austin, his parents, and his sister.

The outlet also revealed that “Love, Freddie” has a handwritten letter from B, which details her relationship with the singer. It reads:

Freddie Mercury was and is my father. We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life.

“B,” now aged 48, also offered a glimpse into what Mercury was like as a father. Although their relationship was kept secret, he never failed to make her feel loved.

He adored me and was devoted to me. The circumstances of my birth may seem, by most people’s standards, unusual and even outrageous. That should come as no surprise. It never detracted from his commitment to love and look after me. He cherished me like a treasured possession.

Before Mercury’s death in 1991, he gave his daughter 17 journals, which were also kept a secret. “B” then passed them to the author ahead of the biography’s publication.
