Bruce Springsteen’s $730 Million Win

Congratulations are in order for Bruce Springsteen, who just broke one of his own touring records while on the road with the E Street Band. It was recently revealed that the 75-year-old is proving just how much of a “Boss” he is. His latest tour brought in nearly $730 million across a 129-show run! Talk about a successful run.

The tour, which took place between 2023 and 2025, officially wrapped up earlier this month in Italy. It’s now become one of the most successful runs of his career, with nearly 4.9 million tickets sold. It also earned a spot among the top 10 highest-grossing tours of all time, joining other milestone acts like Coldplay, U2, and Taylor Swift.

The recent trek more than doubled the $347 million he earned during the “Wrecking Ball Tour” in 2012 and 2013. According to Billboard, while ticket prices were higher this time around, they only increased by about 29%. It’s well below the average hike for stadium and arena acts, whether contemporary or legacy.

As the outlet noted, “The 2023–25 tour closed with 4.9 million tickets, handily outdoing the “Wrecking Ball World Tour’s” 3.6 million by 37%. The Rising Tour is next, at 3.2 million. (Boxscore reporting formalized in the mid-late 1980s, and some of Springsteen’s tours in the ’70s and ’80s may be underreported.)”

Springsteen is now breaking records overall. He’s grossing more than $2.3 billion in total career touring sales across both E Street Band tours and solo performances.

Bruce Springsteen is Coming to the Big Screen

This record-breaking moment arrives as Springsteen prepares to tell his story in a new biopic. “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” is set to star the talented Jeremy Allen White, who is currently making waves on TV. The film will focus on the singer’s path to creating his 1982 album, “Nebraska,” one of his most iconic and introspective works.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, Springsteen opened up about what it was like watching someone portray him on screen. “I’m sure it’s much worse for the actor than for me. Jeremy Allen White was very, very tolerant of me the days that I would appear on the set.”

Worried about interfering with White’s performance, Springsteen made it clear he didn’t want to step on creative toes. “If there was a scene coming up that was really deeply personal, I wanted the actors to feel completely free,” he said. “And I didn’t want to get in the way, so I would just stay at home.”

“If [director] Scott Cooper wanted or needed me there for something, I would try to make it. But I was on tour in Canada for the whole first month or so of filming, so I was really out on the road and working at that time.”

The film hits theaters October 24 and also stars Stephen Graham, Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, and Marc Maron.

A Hidden Treasure Trove of Music

With no signs of stopping, Springsteen recently released his seven-disc box set. It documents several unreleased tracks that were recorded from 1983 to 2018. Think of these as special hidden songs that weren’t right at the time but definitely needed to see the day of life. “Tracks II: The Lost Albums” follows his 1998 box set “Tracks,” which contained a total of 66 songs. That one also includes never-before-released singles that were recorded throughout several sessions for his albums, including demos, B-sides, and several alternative versions.

This time around, the singer received several praises for the new songs, with Metacritic giving the album an average score of 96 out of 100 from a total of seven critics, Classic Rock giving the album a total of five stars, Pitchfork ranking it an 8.5 out of 10, and Rolling Stone giving the release four stars out of five.

Safe to say Springsteen shows no signs of slowing down! Whether it’s on stage, on vinyl, or on the silver screen, the Boss is still running the show. We’re all just lucky to be along for the ride.
