Fans of MTV’s “Laguna Beach” will remember the iconic Cabo trip taken by the cast in season 1, and Kristin Cavallari shared a hilarious reenactment of a scene while vacationing at the Mexico hot spot.
On August 12, Cavallari shared an Instagram reel of her mouthing the words from the show over 20 years ago: “I’m so excited for Cabo.”
Austin “Scoot” Rhodes, who is married to Cavallari’s best friend Justin Anderson, reenacted Cavallari’s friend, Alex Hooser’s line, which was, “Me too.”
Cavallari continued with a cheeky smile, “It’s just like, it’s Cabo, you know. What happens in Cabo, stays in Cabo.”
Cavallari wrote the memorable line in her comments section, with the hashtag, “IYKYK,” which is short for “If you know, you know.”
The “Very Cavallari” star is referencing the moment she admitted to wanting to hook up with her crush, Sam, while she was on the outs with her then-boyfriend, Stephen Colletti.
“Iconic to use your own sound bite as a voice over! love!” a fan wrote. Another replied, “Laguna Beach. Best show when I was in High School.”
Cavallari & Colletti Relived Their Cabo Moment
Cavallari and Colletti’s relationship was strained when they were in Cabo together, and they got into a screaming match while at a club during a night out.
At one point, Colletti called Cavallari derogatory names before she walked away from him.
Years later, the two revisited the moment on their podcast, “Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen.”
“That is me literally at my worst right there. My mom raised me in a good way to treat women, and I believe in that, to be well-mannered, treat you with respect, and to obviously never in a million years lay a finger on somebody or anything like that,” he recalled of him grabbing Kristin.
He told her, “I was out of control and definitely owe you an apology. So, I am sorry for that.”
The “One Tree Hill” star explained, “You’re seeing a very immature little boy having his emotions boil over and not processing them in the right way, mixed in with a ton of tequila. And it is a very unhealthy combination. And frankly, you know, I was embarrassed.”
“I’m actually proud of how I reacted to you. I stand by it all of these years later because you were in my face, yelling at me,” Cavallari told him.
The former couple are now friends and on good terms, which Cavallari showed in 2020 in an Instagram post. “2004 or 2020?!” she shared.
