While the winners of “Love Island USA” season 7 were crowned this week on Peacock, the show has also created a new generation of social media stars. Thanks to a new study by Heepsy, we now know which islanders gained the most social media popularity while on “Love Island USA” 2025.
Top 10 ‘Love Island USA’ Contestants
For their study, Heepsy tracked Instagram follower gains during the 30-day period leading up to the July 13, 2025, finale. During that finale, fans of the show watched Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales be named the winners of season 7.
While Amaya and Bryan were named the winners, this study purely focused on Instagram growth. At the same time, they were collecting background information, including age, hometown, occupation, and current follower counts.
Here is a breakdown of the top 10 “Love Island USA” 2025 contestants based on their Instagram follower growth during the last 30 days of the season:

A Breakdown of Those Rankings
While Huda didn’t win “Love Island USA” 2025, she did top the rankings with the most Instagram followers. The 24-year-old fitness coach from Raleigh, North Carolina, now has 2.8 million followers, which makes her the most popular islander on social media.
Speaking of fitness coaches, four of the show’s healthcare and fitness professionals made the top 10. This seems to point to the fact that Americans have a high interest in wellness-focused influencers.
Huda led the top 10 by gaining 2.4 million Instagram followers during the final month of the show. Overall, the top 10 contestants on this list gained over 10 million followers on Instagram.
Amaya came in second in the rankings by gaining 2.2 million followers. However, she and Bryan split the $100,000 prize for winning the show, so she banked that in addition to the massive growth on social media. Meanwhile, Bryan didn’t even crack the top 10 in follower growth.
In a statement, Tabi Vicuña, founder of Heepsy, said: “Huda Mustafa gaining more followers than the actual winner proves that being popular online is different from winning the competition.”
