When Does ‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’ Premiere on Peacock?

While “Love Island USA” fans are enjoying the brand new season of the hit show, many are asking when the spin-off “Love Island: Beyond the Villa” will make it’s premiere on Peacock.

The wait is over, as Peacock has released the first official trailer of “Love Island: Beyond the Villa.” And while it’s filled with jaw-dropping drama, it’s also filled with details of when the spin-off will be airing this summer.

The streaming service announced back in April that production on a spin-off was in the works. This spin-off would basically be a follow-up to “Love Island USA” season 6, with cameras following around the cast members as they navigate the real world after the show ended.

The spin-off would give fans a chance to see how the various relationships from the show evolved and how friendships were formed. The cast of “Love Island: Beyond the Villa” includes JaNa Craig, Aaron Evans, Miguel Harichi, Leah Kateb, Kaylor Martin, Connor Newsum, Serena Page, Kenny Rodriguez, Olivia Walker, and Kendall Washington.

Peacock Announced ‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’ Premiere Date

On June 9, Peacock released the first official trailer for “Love Island: Beyond the Villa” and with it came the announcement of when fans can expect to watch this new show.

The “Love Island: Beyond the Villa” premiere will kick off on Peacock starting Sunday, July 13, at 9 p.m. EDT. From there, new episodes of the “Love Island USA” spin-off will be released on Thursdays starting July 17.

The trailer also teased what fans of the show can expect from this new spin-off, which will focus on several of the Islanders from season 6. Things kick off with some of the cast members announcing, “I got a text!”

These text messages seem to be different for each person, including, “What do you mean Kenny and JaNa aren’t living together?” and “BFF’s Kaylor and Liv are fighting.” Cut to the BFFs arguing with each other.

The trailer also lets fans know that some of the cast members are in new relationships, then we see Leah and Miguel get a crying baby doll in the mail. Miguel is not impressed, calling it “Satan’s spawn.”

“Love Island USA” host Ariana Madix has a quick cameo in the trailer, asking an important question: “Are you guys getting married?”

Things only get more intense from there, as we see some cast members talking about their anxiety attacks and others butting heads over their relationships. The trailer comes to an end with one of the cast members telling the camera operators to get “out of my face.”

First-of-Its-Kind Spin-Off

While this isn’t the first spin-off for the “Love Island” franchise, it is taking the franchise into a whole new territory. Fans of the show know that “Love Island Games” featured contestants from different versions of the show around the world, including the U.S., Germany, France, Sweden, Australia, and UK.

“Love Island Games” had the contestants competing in a game show version of “Love Island.” In the end, Justine Ndiba from “Love Island USA” season 2 and Jack Fowler from “Love Island UK” season 4 were the winners.

While that show featured contestants from the show, it wasn’t a direct follow-up to one particular season. That is what “Beyond the Villa” will bring fans, as the cameras will be following the cast members from season 6 as they live their lives in Los Angeles after returning from the villa.

If this spin-off is a huge hit, we can only expect Peacock to do this after every new season. For now, fans can tune into the premiere of “Love Island: Beyond the Villa” on Peacock on July 13 at 9 p.m. EDT.
