“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” returned to MTV for Season 13 just one short week ago, and already the drama has spiked. Episode one confirmed that several relationships are in turmoil, friendships are still strained, and the situation with Scrappy’s threesome baby mama isn’t as calm as it seemed after all.

Shakira Isn’t Accepting Scrappy’s New Girlfriend
GettyLast season, Lil Scrappy’s focus was on family. He was trying to improve his relationship with Bambi and Erica, the mothers of his older children, and he was also adjusting to the idea of having a newborn. He took a lot of heat for having a threesome baby with Shakira, but she seemed like the most chill pregnant woman on earth. After their son was born and the DNA test checked out, Shakira relocated to Atlanta so that she was closer to Scrap.
Everything seemed to be going well between the two of them until Scrap introduced his new girlfriend, Britney. During an interview in the premiere episode, Scrappy says he and Britney connected because they were going through the divorce process at the same time. He told her about recently having a child with Shakira, and she wanted to take things slow. After several months together, Scrappy says that they are “locked in.”
After learning all about Britney, Shakira went from coolest baby mama to the most irate. Scrappy now has a real problem on his hands, one that he never saw coming.
Will the Girl’s Retreat Be Peaceful?
The ladies of Atlanta are all going through something heavy. Renni Lucci is attempting to reconcile with her man, Zacc, after he accused her of cheating on him with Kevin Gates. They are back under the same roof for now.
Karlie Redd is going through a divorce, and everyone has been worried about her. She now admits that she has been hiding a lot of things that were going on, like domestic violence. Ashley and Lil Zane are still together. He thinks that he deserves a lot of credit for not having a baby outside of their marriage, while Ashley wants him to be loyal.
Bambi has moved on from Scrappy and is officially dating Ray. In the first episode of season 13, Bam was wedding dress shopping with Jessica White, reflecting on how, for a change, it’s her friendships that need work. Her recent diss track called out both Spice and Rasheeda, and now neither is happy with her.
Jessica’s solution to all of the ladies’ problems is to go on a spiritual retreat together. She thinks that they can all heal together if they make the effort. Tune in tonight at 8 pm on MTV to see if Jessica’s efforts to bring people together were made in vain!
