Why Kendall & Kylie Skipped Brody Jenner’s Wedding?

Kendall and Kylie Jenner were no-shows at their half-brother Brody Jenner’s intimate wedding this weekend. While some assumed there’s bad blood between the siblings, that may not be the case at all.

TMZ reported that Kylie and Kendall were invited to the ceremony but opted not to attend. Sources told the outlet it wasn’t because of an ongoing feud, but something more “strategic.”

Given the sisters’ popularity, it’s easy to steal the spotlight from the bride and the groom. That is something Kendall and Kylie want to avoid, according to the insider.

This isn’t the first time Kendall and Kylie skipped out on their brother’s big moments. In 2018, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” stars didn’t attend Brody’s commitment ceremony with his ex, Kaitlynn Carter, in Bali.

While Brody and Tia celebrated their wedding, Kendall and Kylie were off enjoying a girls’ trip to Europe. Kylie even shared a video of herself having a blast with her daughter, Stormi, aboard a yacht in Greece.

The Jenner sisters recently attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s high-profile wedding in Venice, Italy.

Though Kendall and Kylie were not in attendance, their father, Caitlyn Jenner, was present to celebrate Brody and Tia’s big day. Brody’s brothers, Brandon and Burt Jenner, also attended the intimate event.

According to TMZ, around 60-70 guests attended the ceremony held at Brody’s mom, Linda Thompson’s, estate.

“Last night was truly something special. We had the best time celebrating our love with all of you,” Brody wrote on his Instagram Stories. “Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such an unforgettable night. We felt so much love and couldn’t be more grateful.”

In January, Brody opened up about his half-sisters. In an interview with “The Viall Files,” he admitted they don’t see each other often, but insisted that it hasn’t changed his love for them.

“I love them all to death. I just don’t see them,” Brody said. “We didn’t grow up in the same household, so it’s not like it’s any different, but when we do see each other, it’s like no time has passed. We are close, but we’re not, like, calling each other every day … but if Kylie or Kendall were to call me right now, I would walk out of this room and pick up the phone. I would be there for them.”
