Kylie Jenner’s Emotional Tribute Six Months After Hairstylist Jesus Guerrero’s Passing

Kylie Jenner gave a sweet tribute to her friend six months later after his unexpected tragedy. The beauty mogul and reality TV icon took to her Instagram in an emotionally raw gesture. She resurfaced photos, memories, and echoes of a friendship that went way beyond hairstyling. It’s been half a year since Jesus Guerrero passed away at age 34, but in Jenner’s eyes and heart, that light never dimmed.

Kylie Jenner & Jesus Guerrero: Their Unbreakable Bond

Guerrero wasn’t just another name on a glam team. He was the BFF who turned bad-hair-day panic into runway-ready art while also making Kylie Jenner. He styled her from 2019 onward, from the red carpets of the Golden Globes to Paris Couture Fashion Week. His client list was more than impressive, working with big names like J.Lo, Rosalía, Dua Lipa, Jessica Alba, Demi Moore, and more.

When Guerrero’s family broke the news on February 23, 2025, his younger sister Gris wrote they let the world know he had “gone to heaven… a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.” Guerrero’s passing was deeply felt across the glam world and beyond.

Just two days later, on February 25, Jenner poured out her grief in a social media post that read more like a love letter than a press statement.

“Jesus was more than my friend — he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,” she wrote. “I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side… Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me… The pain of losing you is just unbearable… and I loved you so much. You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched. a true artist. You inspired so many, and you always will.”

She didn’t shy from the raw details either. “Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever. I’ll cherish all our moments together… I wish I could hug you again,” she wrote. “I would give anything for one more deep talk. I’m going to miss you so much, more than any words can say. 222 my angel.”

And later, the grief hit in waves. “Grief isn’t getting easier. It’s just getting lonelier. I miss you so much. Why aren’t you here? Every first without you hurts me,” Kylie confessed in another post.

Forever Remembered by All

Jenner didn’t stop at words. She funded the funeral costs to lift a massive financial burden off the family, who had set up a GoFundMe to afford getting Jesus’s things home and arranging services, according to People. His family responded with heartfelt thanks.

She also traveled to Houston, joining Jennifer Lopez at Guerrero’s funeral on March 30, 2025, paying her respects in person, a final bow to a dear friend and collaborator. In a world of carefully curated posts, this tribute is painfully real and beautifully messy. Jenner didn’t sugarcoat her grief; she let it spill.

Six months on, and she’s still laying the memories bare. Not wallowing, but rather remembering their time together. It’s a reminder that behind every red carpet and every click of the camera, there is a person. In Guerrero’s case, he made everything a bit lighter, a bit funnier, and a hell of a lot more alive.
