Kourtney Kardashian Barker marked a significant milestone on Tuesday, July 8, as her daughter Penelope officially became a teenager.
The ‘Lemme’ co-founder, 46, celebrated Penelope’s 13th birthday with a series of sweet Instagram Stories, starting with a shot of a bedroom filled with pink and white balloons.
“My daughter is 13 today,” she wrote over the photo. “My heart is exploding with gratitude and love for her 😩🥺💘.”

Kourtney and Penelope appeared to be celebrating in Italy — a destination with special meaning for the Kardashian family. In one post, Kourtney shared that she brought her daughter to the same place her parents honeymooned nearly five decades ago.
“My parents spent their honeymoon here 47 years ago,” she wrote over a scenic view. “So special to get to bring my daughter here.” “She inspires me every day to be a better person,” she added in another slide.
Kourtney also included a throwback photo of Penelope, adding to the day’s nostalgic tone.

Travis Barker, Penelope’s stepdad, also honored her day by sharing a snap of the two adding a sticker to a street sign. In the candid photo, Barker lifted Penelope in the air. “Happy Birthday P,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.
Grandmother Kris Jenner joined in on the celebration with a carousel of throwback photos. She included sweet shots of Penelope throughout the years, from posing in gowns to sharing smiles with her cousins.
“My beautiful granddaughter Penelope is officially a teenager!! I can’t believe you are 13 today!” Jenner wrote. “P you are such a smart, strong, confident, kind, fun, and amazing girl… You make all of us so proud every single day.”
She ended with: “Getting to watch you grow into this amazing young lady has been one of the greatest blessings of my life… The world is yours my sweet P, and I love you beyond words!! 💖🎂🤍.”
Kourtney shares Penelope, as well as sons Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick. She also welcomed her fourth child — son Rocky Thirteen — in 2023 with her husband, Travis Barker.
