Pauly D’s Daughter Is Getting So So Big

Paul DelVecchio, better known by his stage name DJ Pauly D, chooses to share much of his life with fans. Still, his relationship with his daughter, Amabella Sophia, whom he co-parents with Amanda Markert, is not something he often discusses, nor does he share public posts about her.

DelVecchio has not often spoken publicly about fatherhood, but when he has, he has said beautiful things about the way his daughter changed his life for the better. Discussing becoming a father on an episode of “Double Shot At Love” in 2023, the reality TV star described it as “one of the most amazing experiences,” People reports. He continued, “It’s the first time I ever loved something and somebody more than I love myself. That girl is my everything, and there’s two most important ladies in my life: my mother, and my daughter.”

He has also discussed fatherhood with his co-star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro on a May 2018 episode of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”

“There’s no actual way you can prepare for what’s going to happen, but it’ll change your life,” DelVecchio said. “I swear, I never thought in my life I would ever love something more than I love myself. Dead honest, I mean that. People say it, but no, I mean that. Everything I do, I do it for her.” He and Markert have learned to co-parent together. Still, in the same episode, DelVecchio reflected on how their relationship was “so rocky in the beginning,” but that they had gotten over it.

Her dad may be famous, but Amabella Sophia has to follow age-appropriate rules, such as not having access to the social media platform TikTok and having her cellphone usage regulated. “She has rules with the phone. She gets it taken away if her grades aren’t good, and stuff like that,” DelVecchio told People on May 1, 2024. “She’s not allowed to have TikTok. She’s too young,” he adds.

The reality TV star also discussed his kid’s interest in skincare. “She’s obsessed,” he told People. “When I was her age, I didn’t know what any of that stuff was!” In the interview, fans also learned that DelVecchio’s daughter is interested in becoming a DJ, just like her famous dad.

Although she has not grown up on reality TV, her mother, Amanda Markert, has occasionally shared glimpses into her life through Instagram posts. In May 2022, she posted a photo of herself and Amabella Sophia enjoying milkshakes. The following year, in May, she shared a photo on Instagram of her daughter, captioning it with “ten.” It has been two years since her most recent update, and this may be to protect her tween from the public eye.
