HGTV Renews ‘The Flip Off’ for Season 2
On August 21, 2025, HGTV shared a short video clip on Instagram that announced season 2 of “The Flip Off.“
“They’re back!! 🫣🙏😅 #FlipOff #Season2 #ComingSoon,” the caption shared.
In the video, the text says, “Praying for less stress in season 2,” as the trio holds hands with their heads bowed. The Windows error song plays as the trio becomes two — just Heather Rae and Christina.
Tarek commented, “Let’s go!!!” with three fire emojis.
Heather Rae reposted a video in her Instagram Stories from Tarek’s Instagram that noted, “Guess who’s flipping back?”
Tarek captioned the video, “Season 1 was just the warm-up… 😏 #TheFlipOff. Season 2 is coming! 📺🔥.”
In the video, Tarek is in a meeting and looks at his phone, then announces, “The king is back, baby.” He pulls a crown out of his desk, places it on his head, and struts down the hall towards Heather Rae and Christina.
They receive a text saying, “The Flip Off season 2 is a go!” and toast to the news.
Tarek puts his arm around Christina to celebrate, saying, “the king is back, baby.” She responds, “Ew! You’re not the king,” plucks the crown from his head, and tosses it (and a wig!) to the floor.
The song “Love and Marriage” plays as “The Flip Off season 2” displays on the screen.
“Let’s goooo 🚀” Christina commented.
Tarek noted, “Let’s make it a two-peat 🔥👑🛠️.”
Heather Rae commented, “Here we gooooooo🔥🔥🔥🔥. Take your bets, who’s bringing home the crown next season? 👑🏚️🛠️”
What Can Fans Expect in ‘The Flip Off’ Season 2?
According to an HGTV press release, “The Flip Off” season 2 won’t mess with the original concept.
“In 2026, HGTV’s most popular exes Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack, along with Tarek’s wife Heather Rae El Moussa, will call a rematch in an epic sophomore season of breakout hit competition series ‘The Flip Off,’ the network’s highest-rated freshman series since 2022 that attracted nearly 14 million viewers across linear and streaming,” the release reads.
It continues, “The new episodes will once again pit first-season champions Tarek, a real estate expert with nearly 1,000 flips to his credit, and his wife and luxury real estate agent Heather Rae against high-end design expert Christina to see who can find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain.”
“Having learned her lessons from last season, Christina will throw out the rule book and do everything she can to beat Tarek and Heather Rae at the flipping game,” the release notes. “But they won’t give up their crown easily in an all-out battle to see who can win round two of ‘The Flip Off.'”
