Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa took a moment to celebrate the Fourth of July — it turns out it’s a special anniversary for the couple! See what the HGTV stars shared about their big day, as they celebrate six years together.

Tarek & Heather Rae El Moussa Met on July Fourth

On July 4, 2025, Tarek took to Instagram to share a video of photos from their time together. On this day, six years ago, they first met.

“6 years ago today … I saw @theheatherraeelmoussa across the water, and something just hit me.
I didn’t know her name. I didn’t know her story. But I knew I had to meet her,” he wrote in the caption.

Tarek continued, “That day changed my life.”

“The Flip Off” star wrote, “Heather, you are my best friend, my biggest blessing, and the love of my life. Thank you for choosing me, loving me, and standing beside me through it all.”

He added, “Happy 4th of July to everyone celebrating — and happy anniversary to the day I met the woman who changed everything. I’ll never stop thanking the universe for that moment. ❤️”

The video included highlights from each year, beginning with 2019, their wedding day in 2021, the birth of their son in 2023, and a new home in 2025.

Fans lit up the comments section to wish them well on their special day, with notes including, “Happy Anniversary! Beautiful love story,” “Happy Anniversary! So happy for you both and it’s been fun to watch your love story,” and “This is the sweetest!”

Tarek & Heather Rae Just Bought a New House

On June 19, Heather Rae took to Instagram to share a video of the new home they just bought.

“We have some news … We’re moving!!! We are so excited for this new chapter and new adventure for our family,” she wrote in the caption. “We can’t wait to make this house a home and add our El Moussa design [flair] and show you guys some of the process .🏡”

The video gave fans a look inside their new house as they walked in and showed off the open floor plan.

In a June 2024 Instagram post, the couple gave a house tour, pointing out some of the design choices they are planning for their new home. Heather Rae and Tarek promised to take fans along for the renovation and design process.
