How Much Did Tarek & Heather Rae El Moussa’s New House Cost? Inside Their Gorgeous New Home

It’s no wonder HGTV stars Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa are so excited that they’re starting a “new chapter,” announcing on June 19, 2025, that they’ve purchased a new home for their family.

The “Flipping El Moussas” stars will be moving into a stunning $5.2 million abode in Newport Beach, California, according to Realtor.com. The outlet reported that their new home is minutes away from Tarek’s ex-wife and fellow HGTV star Christina Haack, making drop-offs and pick-ups extra easy with their kids, 14-year-old daughter Taylor and nine-year-old son Brayden.

On June 19, Heather shared a video with glimpses inside the new home they’ll share with Taylor, Brayden and their two-year-old son, Tristan, and wrote, “We have some news….We’re moving!!! We are so excited for this new chapter and new adventure for our family. We Can’t wait to make this house a home and add our El Moussa design flare and show you guys some of the process .🏡✨”

According to records reviewed by EntertainmentNow, the contemporary, one-level home was built in 2024 and boasts lots of luxurious amenities, from a chef’s kitchen to a backyard saltwater pool and spa.

“Today’s the official day, we have the keys,” Heather said at the start of the video she shared, before they walked into their new home. She shared glimpses of them looking at paint samples and of her working at the kitchen counter, which is a massive 12-foot Quartzite island flanked by state-of-the-art appliances.

The El Moussas’ new house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a dedicated office space, and an open-concept great room with a soaring 12-foot-high ceiling and 10-foot tall pocket doors that “disappear into the wall,” creating an indoor-outdoor flow from that space to the pool.

It’s not clear when the “Flip-Off” stars, who married in 2021, will move into their new home and out of their other Newport Beach house, where they’ve lived since 2020.

When they moved there, Tarek told People at the time, “This is our in-between house until we build or find the perfect house. But I mean, this is a super killer house. It’s nicer than the house we were living in — it’s right by the water and kind of looks like a hotel.”

It’s located just a block from the ocean, but things had grown a bit cramped there since Tristan’s birth in January 2023, with Tarek admitting to HGTV.com that he’d been using their rooftop deck as an office space.

In October, Heather told Hello Magazine, “We’re looking to move and buy a new house. We live at the beach right now, so we’re looking to move to something with a backyard because we’re kind of tight space right now.”

Although the El Moussas have loved taking Tristan on beach walks, they’ll now have plenty of room in their backyard, which not only includes a pool, but also a patio and yard space for him and their pup.
