Beach lovers with a bank full of cash can now rent out HGTV stars Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa’s home in Newport Beach, California, for a cool $25,000 per month.
On August 7, 2025, Realtor.com reported that after moving into their new $5.2 million home a few miles away, they decided to rent out the four-bedroom, four-bathroom house where they’ve lived since 2020, located one block from the beach.
Tarek & Heather Rae El Moussa Transformed Their Beach Home When They Moved In
The El Moussas’ beach home’s listing features over 50 photos of the gorgeous house, which they frequently featured on social media before their July move into their new abode.
The home includes a gourmet kitchen, two-car garage, and a second-story, luxurious primary suite with a custom walk-in closet and doors that open to a private patio.
When they purchased the beach house, the El Moussas transformed its look and feel, with Tarek explaining to Celebrity Sanctuary, “When we first got our beach house, it was a very white house, like everything was white, and we wanted to sexy it up a little bit, darken it up a little bit.”
“I love the rooftop,” he continued. “There are two fireplaces on the rooftop with a sitting area. We completely redesigned and rebuilt the whole thing. We have a gorgeous hot tub with an ocean view, and then my office is actually on the rooftop of the house with an ocean view as well, so it’s very nice.”
To rent the fully furnished house, guests must commit to a 30-day minimum, according to the listing.
HGTV’s Tarek El Moussa Says New Home Won’t Be Their ‘Forever Home’
The El Moussas are thrilled to have more space and a backyard with a pool for their family, which includes their son Tristan, 2, and Tarek’s children from his marriage to fellow HGTV star Christina Haack — daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, almost 10.
However, Tarek told Realtor.com that they only plan to stay there long-term, explaining, “It’s not our forever home. We will probably be in this house for one or two years. This is going to be the in-between house before we buy the house, and then we’re done.”
According to records reviewed by EntertainmentNow, the El Moussas’ new house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a dedicated office space, and an open-concept great room with a soaring 12-foot-high ceiling and 10-foot tall pocket doors that “disappear into the wall,” creating an indoor-outdoor flow from that space to the pool.
