HGTV Announces All-New Shows to Replace Recently-Canceled Series

After HGTV shocked fans by not renewing at least seven long-running shows during the summer of 2025, viewers have been eager to know what will air in place of series like “Farmhouse Fixer” and “Bargain Block.”

They now have their answer. On August 21, the network announced a slate of new series set to premiere in late 2025 and early 2026, in addition to renewing several popular series.

In a press release, HGTV said it has ordered over 100 episodes of fresh content, including 60 episodes of renewed shows from popular personalities including Ben and Erin Napier, Alison Victoria, and Jasmine Roth.

New HGTV Shows Include ‘Cheap A$$ Beach Houses’ & ‘Tropic Like It’s Hot’

Howard Lee, who oversees HGTV as Chief Creative Officer for US Networks at Warner Bros. Discovery, said in a statement, “HGTV’s passionate fans tune in for our signature home renovation, real estate and design expertise, and they also want content that’s unfiltered, escapist and fun. The network’s large order of new and returning series has something for everyone.”

That will include two new series with eye-popping titles — “Cheap A$$ Beach Houses” and “Tropic Like It’s Hot.” The first, produced by Bodega Pictures, will premiere in late 2025 to “humorously show viewers how to own a slice of affordable paradise,” per HGTV. The production company posted a casting notice in May, looking for homeowners and realtors searching for beach houses on a budget to be featured on a new show “for a major network.”

The second just-announced series, “Tropic Like It’s Hot,” from Leopard USA, will “put alluring destinations and luxury living in the tropics center stage for buyers looking to turn up the heat in life and love.” The show is expected to debut in early 2026.

HGTV previously announced that another new series starring “Queer Eye” alum Bobby Berk will debut in late 2025, with a working title of “Junk or Jackpot.”

HGTV has also ordered a new holiday series with the working title “Hoarding for the Holidays,” produced by Exit Four Media, and said it will continue its “White House Christmas” tradition with a one-hour special, though this year’s hosts have not been revealed.

As previously reported, HGTV has renewed multiple series that will premiere new seasons in the fall, including “100 Day Dream Home” with Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt, “Help! I Wrecked My Home” with Jasmine Roth, Retta’s “Scariest House in America,” and “Fixer to Fabulous” with Dave and Jenny Marrs.

On August 21, HGTV also announced that it has renewed “The Flip Off” for a second season starring longtime HGTV stars Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa and Christina Haack, and “Renovation Aloha” with Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama for a third season.

Alison Victoria also returns with a spinoff of her show “Windy City Rehab” — the Las Vegas-based “Sin City Rehab,” premiering on September 17 at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

In its announcement, HGTV also revealed that a “Home Town” spinoff called “Home Town: Inn This Together” will air in 2026, starring Erin and Ben Napier.
