Joanna Gaines Explains What a Personal Design Consultation Will Look Like
In the Instagram video, Joanna Gaines says, “If you’re working with me, where we’re going to start is, ‘What do you want your space to feel like?'”
She goes on, “These moments are the richest things. You get the most reward out of them.”
In addition to getting Jo’s expertise and 15-thousand-dollars to bring her design to life, the winner will also get to travel to Waco, Texas for the annual “Silobration.”
This year’s event is October 23 through 25. And this year is extra-special since it marks the tenth anniversary of the Magnolia Silos opening.
The VIP tickets to the “Silobration” include “exclusive dinners, live concerts and a luxury hotel stay.”
Tenth Anniversary of Magnolia Silos Is One of Many Milestones for Jo
Joanna Gaines is experiencing a series of milestone moments this year, both personal and professional.
Professionally, in addition to celebrating the Silos’ 10th anniversary, she and Chip have reopened the original little shop that was the very first Magnolia Market.
Personally, the couple is sending not one but two of their five children off to college this year.
In a recent emotional post on Instagram, Joanna related, “My oldest son left for his third year of college while my oldest daughter packs for her first year across the country.
This season already feels like one big, breathless surrender. Lord, how do I hold them close while also letting go? Help me to embrace change with a heart filled with hope for the part I know to be truer than the rest—my kids and I may have been made for each other, but I also believe they were made for more. More experiences, more knowledge, more growing than could ever happen within our walls.”
Joanna Gaines has been open about her struggle to come to terms with her oldest daughter, Ella Rose, leaving for college.
In an interview with People, she said, “With Ella, we love to go to antiques shops, plant shops and go get coffee — that’s our rhythm. I kind of feel like I’m losing a friend in my everyday life.”
