Jenny Marrs‘ new book comes out soon, and she has a special treat for some of her fans who pre-ordered it. The HGTV star signed some of the books and included a thoughtful message — see her latest book update!
Jenny Marrs Shares Hopes for Those Reading Her New Book
On August 18, Marrs took to Instagram to give a glimpse of her signing labels that will be placed in a limited number of her book, “Trust God, Love People.”
“For the past two weeks, I’ve spent the white space of my days signing bookplates for pre-order copies of my new book. As I signed, I listened to worship music and prayed over each person who will eventually receive these books and read my words,” she wrote in the caption.
The HGTV star continued, “The work is done and my prayer for this book continues to be that God uses it to encourage and uplift weary hearts while reminding each person reading that He writes the very best stories. We simply have to trust Him (and love the people He places in our path along the way).”
She noted: “‘And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.’ Psalms 39:7 NLT.”
Marrs explained, “You can pre-order a limited number of signed copies at the link in my profile!”
Fans flooded the comments section with notes praising the HGTV star and her new book.
“How kind of you Jenny to include a prayer when signing the book plates. You are a disciple spreading the word and love God gives us. I hope that sales are excellent. Take care!” one person wrote.
Another fan shared, “Love this. When I first quickly saw you signing the book plates, I thought it was Psalm 34:7, also an excellent verse! Then I read the caption. Psalm 39:7! Beautiful.”

Jenny Marrs Calls Book ‘My Heart on the Page’
In a June 2 Instagram post, Marrs explained what a “daunting” proposition it was to write the book.
“For the past three years, I’ve been quietly plugging away writing one story, one page, one chapter at a time. Small steps. Because the big picture of writing this book felt daunting,” she explained in the caption.
Marrs continued, “Each time I sat down to write, I’d pray about which stories to share and then I’d wonder how in the world I’d ever take all of these stories and find the common thread connecting them.”
She noted how her editor, upon reading the initial draft, found the thread. “She said simply: This book is about learning to trust God and then, in turn, loving the people He puts in my path as a result of that deep, abiding trust,” Marrs explained.
The “Fixer to Fabulous” star added, “And, a title was born: ‘Trust God, Love People.'”
She called the book her “heart on the page,” adding, “And I am so proud of it while also holding it loosely.”
Marrs added, “Who knows what God will do with the stories He’s entrusted me with. I’m extremely nervous and extremely grateful to get to share them with the world very soon.”
“Trust God, Love People” is now available for pre-order and comes out on October 7.
