Jenny Marrs Opens up About ‘Big Project’ That She’s Really Excited About

“Fixer to Fabulous” star Jenny Marrs teased her new project!

During a joint January 2025 interview with TV Insider, with her husband, Dave Marrs, Jenny Marrs shared that she will be publishing another book toward the end of 2025. As fans are aware, the HGTV star’s first book, “House + Love = Home” was released in November 2023.

“I’m finalizing the edits of another book I’ve been working on for two years now. This one has been a really big project. The final edit is due in the next few weeks. It should be out this fall. That has been taking up a lot of my time and energy over the past two years behind the scenes and is something I’m really excited about,” said Jenny Marrs during the interview.

She also shared that she and her husband are “opening another retail location in downtown Bentonville” this year.

“We’re going to feature local artisans we work with and also global pieces we’ve found through traveling and collecting. It will be a little bit of a treasure hunt place, which will be really fun. It will give us one more thing to do and manage. That will be opening up in the spring,” said Jenny Marrs to the publication.

Jenny Marrs Mentioned Her Upcoming Book on Social Media

Jenny Marrs discussed working on her new book in a September 2024 Instagram post. In the caption of the post, she said she “took a little break from social media at the advice of a wise and trusted mentor” after her “brain felt overloaded after an intense summer editing [her] manuscript.” She explained that she had some difficulty writing the book.

“I’ve been working on this book for well over two years and the first draft was all about discerning which stories to tell. The second draft was all about making the words make sense 😆. I struggled through the process,” wrote Marrs in the caption. “I went back emotionally to the hard places and remembered details that my brain had long ago blocked. This book is all about God’s abounding faithfulness in my life and I have never written anything more vulnerable.”

Jenny Marrs Said She Always Wanted to Be a Writer

In a January 2024 interview on Family Life Radio, Marrs shared she wanted to be a writer since she was a child. She explained that she often journals as a way “of processing things.”

“I’ve always wanted to write a book. It’s been a labor of love,” said Marrs during the interview.
