HGTV stars Erin and Ben Napier are expanding their empire — and their impact on Laurel, Mississippi, the hometown they’ve helped to revitalize over the last decade and where they film their aptly-named series, “Home Town.”
On August 21, 2025, HGTV announced that among the new shows coming to the network in late 2025 and early 2026 will be a spinoff series starring the Napiers and their friends, called “Home Town: Inn This Together.” But it’s more than a show, according to press materials; the series will follow their adventures as they transform a 25,000-square-foot building into a boutique hotel in Laurel.
Erin & Ben Napier Are 1 of 3 Couples Building New Hotel
“Inn This Together” will chronicle the Napiers’ latest project with their dear friends and business partners — Jim and Mallorie Rasberry (Jim is Erin’s cousin, and Mallorie is her longtime bestie) and Josh and Emily Nowell.
In 2016, the circle of friends set out to revitalize their hometown of Laurel, even before “Home Town” became a show, and they have since launched multiple businesses to help the local economy, including the Laurel Mercantile, Erin’s Scent Library, and the Scotsman General Store & Ben’s Woodshop.
Now they’ve teamed up for their biggest project yet, restoring the “dilapidated 1930 Kress building in downtown Laurel,” per HGTV.
The three couples celebrated the August 21 announcement on their businesses’ social media pages, sharing, “The secret’s out! 📣 Laurel is back in the spotlight—this time with a renovation like you’ve never seen before. No cottages. No fixer-uppers. Just one historic 25,000-square-foot building (yep, that’s us!) about to be transformed into something incredible. We can’t wait for you to follow along on this journey!”
Reservations for Erin & Ben Napier’s Hotel Are Now Open
Renovations and filming are already well underway at the hotel, called The Heirloom, which will also house a cooking school, podcast studio, and storefront.
According to a new website for the project, the “Inn This Together” will debut in the spring of 2026 — and the doors to the hotel will open then, too. But reservations for 2026 are open now, with a 10% discount available to those who book by October 15.
The site, which features gorgeous photos of completed rooms, says, “The Heirloom Hotel is a 30-room boutique hotel located in the heart of Laurel, Mississippi. Every room, every hallway, every corner carries the quiet charm where things feel familiar, even if it’s your first time here. The perfect landing spot while you explore our hometown.”
In addition to “Inn This Together,” HGTV said a new seasons of “Home Town” is also slated to air in early 2026.
