Chip & Joanna Gaines Raise $1M for Texas Flood Relief

Chip and Joanna Gaines are celebrating a successful effort to raise money to fund flood relief efforts for Texas.

The couple opened up their headquarters, the Magnolia Silos, immediately following the tragic flooding over the July 4th weekend. And supporters quickly responded.

In a new Instagram post, Joanna Gaines revealed that the efforts have raised more than one million dollars. In the post, Joanna writes, “A heartfelt thank you to our partners and friends who joined us in raising over $1,000,000 to support the Texas Hill Country this week. Thank you, @target@loloirugs@unitedtalent@ubs@comerica_bank@jpmorganchase and John and Julie Schmidt Family Foundation.❤️

And to @crateandbarrel and @ariatinternational—thank you for donating blankets and boots where they’re needed most.

To our community who donated at the Silos: because of you, truckloads of essential supplies are now in the hands of the Salvation Army and making their way to families in need across the region.

We couldn’t be more thankful for the way our partners, friends, and community have rallied around our neighbors in need. 🙏🏼”

Silos Become Headquarters for Salvation Army

In an Instagram post, Joanna showed people turning out to load supplies into Salvation Army trucks on the Silos grounds.

The charity collected blankets, sleeping bags, diapers, hygiene products, flashlights, batteries and other necessities to help the people who lost their homes in the flooding.

Chip & Joanna Gaines Offer Special Merch to Raise Funds for Flood Victims

Chip and Joanna Gaines have also stocked the Silos store with merchandise that benefits flood relief.

post on both Chip and Joanna Gaines‘ Instagram accounts offers fans and followers a way to help victims by purchasing a ballcap or t-shirt. According to the pictures, both items feature the words “Together for Texas.”

The caption reads, “We’re thankful to be joining our friends over at @senderopc who created a collection benefiting the Texas Hill Country (available at the Silos soon). 100% of profits from this collection will go straight to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund administered by @cftexashillcountry. Pre-order or donate directly at the link in bio.”

Both the hat and the t-shirt feature the caption, “Hope Runs Through These Hills.”

Chip & Joanna Gaines Post Rare Glimpse of Personal Time

Chip and Joanna Gaines also posted a rare glimpse of what they do away from the cameras.

A new picture on Instagram shows the pair at an Eric Church concert, enjoying the concert. In the post, Joanna writes, “What a night✨ The choir, the instruments, the music, the venue—what an incredible show @ericchurchmusic.

We love the new album Evangeline Vs The Machine!
👏🏼❤️👏🏼”

The carousel of pictures shows Chip and Jo sporting cowboy hats, sitting relatively far back from the stage where Eric Church is performing. Another picture shows the couple with a group of friends in what appears to be an area behind-the-scenes at the concert.
