Texas natives Chip and Joanna Gaines are opening up their Magnolia Empire to help with relief efforts after the tragic flooding in the state.
In a series of Instagram posts on both Joanna Gaines and Chip Gaines’ accounts, the former “Fixer Upper” stars let fans know about relief efforts.
One post indicates that Chip and Jo hosted a donation drive at the Silos July 8 through 10. The post’s graphic reads, “Help Support Our Neighbors in the Texas Hill Country.” The caption expresses the Gaines’ sadness in the tragedy, reading, “It’s hard to put into words the heartbreak we’re seeing across our home state in the wake of these devastating floods.
For those who are local to Waco, we will be hosting a donation drive at the Silos July 8-10.

Donations: Cotton towels, blankets + sleeping bags, feminine hygiene products, diapers + wipes, toothbrushes + toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, flashlights + batteries, cleaning supplies, trash bags, and shovels.

Chip & Joanna Gaines Offer Special Merch to Raise Funds for Flood Victims
Another post on both Chip and Joanna Gaines‘ Instagram accounts offers fans and followers a way to help victims by purchasing a ballcap or t-shirt. According to the pictures, both items feature the words “Together for Texas.”
The caption reads, “We’re thankful to be joining our friends over at @senderopc who created a collection benefiting the Texas Hill Country (available at the Silos soon). 100% of profits from this collection will go straight to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund administered by @cftexashillcountry. Chip & Joanna Gaines Make Silos an Official Collection Point for Salvation Army
Another Instagram post on Joanna Gaines’ page indicates that Chip and Joanna Gaines have offered their Magnolia headquarters, better known as the Silos, as an official Salvation Army collection point.
When posting the graphic, which lists the needs for flood victims, Joanna wrote, “Thankful for the care and commitment @salarmywaco. 🤍”
Summer is a Busy Time at the Silos
The willingness to share their space comes at a busy time for the Silos, with the summer tourist season in full swing.
In fact, the upcoming weekend boast the last days of a tent sale during “Summer at the Silos.”
According to data company Synergos-Tech, about 30,000 people visit the Silos each week, with Summer months seeing a huge uptick in tourism.
Summer at the Silos runs through August.
