They may have renovated an entire island, but Bryan and Sarah Baeumler are taking on what they might consider an even bigger challenge right now.
The HGTV stars are dropping their oldest daughter Charlotte off at college for the first time this week.
In an Instagram post, Sarah Baeumler captioned a picture taken outside Crate & Barrell writing, “One last stop at @crateandbarrel for some final room accessories! Tomorrow we start the drive up north to drop Charlotte off at university.”
18-year-old Charlotte posted a picture on her Instagram account with a group of friends from Oxbridge Academy, where she just graduated from high school. All the girls are wearing shirts with their future college logo on them.
Charlotte’s shirt reads HPU, or High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. The school has a student body of about 6,300 and is ranked the “Best Run College in the Nation” by the Princeton Review.
Still, it’s about a twelve-and-a-half hour drive from the Baeumeler’s home in south Florida, and even further from their second home in the Bahamas at their resort featured on the HGTV show “Renovation Island,” called Cerula Mar.
Sarah Baeumeler Admits to ‘A Few Tears’ As She Prepares to Say Goodbye
In her Instagram post about Charlotte’s big move, Sarah Baeumler admits, “It’s been a big week here, with a few tears.🥹💜”
The Baeumlers have four children, including sons Quintyn, 20, and Lincoln, 14, and two daughters, Charlotte, 18, and Josephine, 12.
Quintyn is a competitive equestrian and show jumper who still lives in Florida. So Charlotte is the couple’s first child to move far away.
Fans Ask When They’ll See the Baeumlers on HGTV Again
While the Baeumlers helped Erin and Ben Napier in their “Hometown Takeover” of Sebring, Florida, viewers haven’t seen Sarah and her husband Bryan in their own series in a while.
Though details are scarce, we know Bryan and Sarah Baeumler are filming a show for HGTV right now.
In July, Sarah posted a picture of a cameraman filming as she walks with a man, writing, “A little glimpse behind the scenes filming on location. Bringing a vision to life, one frame at a time…literally! 🎥”
Another post shows the beginnings of a yoga studio. In the caption, Sarah writes, “Something peaceful is taking shape…🧘♀️✨
Designing this new space will be a calming process in itself – natural light, soft textures, and a layout that invites you to breathe a little deeper. More coming soon! But for now…inhale, exhale.”
Sarah’s Biggest Hint About New Show Reveals Another Resort Redesign
But Sarah Baeumler’s biggest hint to fans came in March, when she posted a picture on Instagram that featured a large group photo, including both her and Bryan right in the middle.
In the caption, Sarah revealed, “This weekend, we hosted our official Grand Opening after our renovation, that will be featured on HGTV this fall. Thank you to the Islamorada Chamber for the wonderful ribbon cutting, the guests that traveled near and far to join the celebration, and to our incredible staff for making the event a success and for making P&P what it is today. We are so excited to share the new and improved resort! 🌴”
