Celeb Reveals They’ve Spent Most of Their Millions From ‘Harry Potter’ Movies in Honest Moment

Fans of witchcraft and wizardry will be familiar with the important role Jason Isaacs had in the “Harry Potter” film series. The actor played Lucius Malfoy, father of Draco Malfoy (played by Tom Felton). Isaacs’ appeared in six films, and his role began in 2002 with the film “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.”

The success of the franchise has made some stars very successful and also very rich. However, Isaacs has been honest about his finances. In an interview with Vulture on June 16, he revealed he has “pretty much spent everything” he’s made.

It is believed that the actor made millions from his role in the film franchise, Fortune reports. The publication also estimates Isaacs’ net worth to be sound $6 million. But what has Isaacs said about his wealth? “People will think I have huge stockpiles of money, but sadly, what I’ve done rather immaturely is expand my outgoings to match my incomings and pretty much spent everything I’ve earned over the years,” Isaacs told Vulture.

Also in the interview, Isaacs discussed how earnings are often kept secret but revealed that for his work on “The White Lotus” Season 3 he made $40,000 per episode. “Do I mind that I wasn’t paid more than other people? I never work for money,” Issacs said. “I mean, I’ve done all right.”

Isaacs reflected on his time on the “Harry Potter” franchise in an interview with BBC’s The One Show (via People) in February 2025, and commented on the impact it had on his life. “Even though I was in the films, when I’ve taken godchildren or nephews and nieces to the tour and the thing comes up and suddenly you’re in the Great Hall, every time, I burst out in tears,” Isaacs said of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London. “It’s incredibly moving and overwhelming. There’s some magic that happened in those stories.”


Jason Isaacs Shows His Support for Onscreen Son Tom Felton

Isaacs recently showed his support for his onscreen son, played by Tom Felton, when his casting was announced for the Broadway play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” Isaacs posted a photo on Instagram of Felton dressed as Draco and got emotional in his caption. “What a birthday present. Can’t wait son – that’ll be me in the front row with something in my eye,” he wrote.

The play will start on November 11, 2025.
