In Hallmark’s trailer, we learn that Sonny Garrison escaped prison and is at large. And Allie and Oliver disappear when they offer to help a strange newcomer to Hope Valley see the woods.

And based on this sneak peek, Rosemary and Elizabeth are hot on Ava’s trail, figuring out what she’s hiding.

And in a separate sneak peek, Nathan is going on a stakeout and Allie will be staying with Elizabeth while he’s gone.

The synopsis for the episode reads: “The Garrison Gang comes for their gold with Hope Valley residents in the crosshairs. Angela visits the Schwartzman School, and Rosemary uncovers the truth about Ava.”

Based on the photos alone, it looks like this is going to be a fun episode. But the lighthearted pictures Hallmark shares don’t match the seriousness of the preview, so it seems we’ll be getting a mix of intense scenes with some comedic moments.

McGarry recently teased that a big challenge is coming for Nathan and Elizabeth that is “very poignant” to the 1921 timeframe. It doesn’t seem like we’ve seen that moment yet.

“Not only does it shatter their world, it shatters the entire community,” McGarry told Swooon.
