The new season of “When Calls the Heart” is quickly nearing its finale. Tonight, season 12 episode 11 airs — the penultimate episode of the season. It premieres Sunday night, March 16, and picks up right where we left off last week: with the devastating news about Little Jack. In Hallmark’s trailer, we learn that a new medication is available to help Little Jack (most likely insulin), but Elizabeth has to write a letter to convince a set of doctor’s that Little Jack should be given access to the treatment.

And based on this sneak peek, it looks like Nathan is struggling with the news, but staying right by Elizabeth’s side to help her through.

Another Hallmark trailer also reveals that Little Jack would be the first child to be given insulin if he’s approved.
