WCTH Finale: Kevin McGarry Teases Spoilers for Nathan & Elizabeth

Tonight, the season 12 finale of “When Calls the Heart” airs on the Hallmark Channel. It will be available to watch the next day on Hallmark’s streaming platform, Hallmark+. And after last week’s emotional episode, fans are bracing themselves for what might be in store next. Will they need more Kleenex like they did last week when Little Jack’s life was on the line?

Kevin McGarry is teasing that the finale, which always includes a cliffhanger, will introduce big changes for Nathan and Elizabeth that will spill over into season 13 (if the show is renewed.) McGarry Says Nathan & Elizabeth Will Be in ‘Realm of New Territory’

In an interview with Swooon, Kevin McGarry teased big changes for Nathan and Elizabeth.

“With the changing of one’s reality, the potential of season 13 could be rife with a new story for Elizabeth and Nathan and Little Jack and Allie,” he said. “…I think if we’re lucky enough to get a season 13, Nathan and Elizabeth will be in a post they’ve never been before…”

“After you watch the last episode, you’ll be able to see what could happen for Nathan, Elizabeth, Little Jack, and Allie,” McGarry said. He added that the couple will be left in a “realm of new territory.”

McGarry added that he hopes in season 13, they might be able to explore more about Nathan’s family, such as his mother.

In Hallmark’s trailer, we learn that quite a few Hope Valley residents are hunting for buried gold. And it looks like Nathan and Elizabeth are going to have a very special moment.

Another Hallmark trailer shows a lot of flirtation happening between Edie and Lucas.

And in another sneak peek, we learn that Elizabeth is going to have a chance to present her curriculum at an education conference.
