Fans Moved as Valerie Bertinelli Opens Up About Powerful ‘Pinch Me’ Moment

Hallmark alum Valerie Bertinelli shared a powerful post on social media that her fans loved.

Bertinelli, who starred in Hallmark’s “Finding John Christmas,” posted a cute throwback photo on her Instagram page on August 20. It showed her posing with her Hollywood Walk of Fame star, and she included an inspiring note in the caption.

Valerie Bertinelli Shared an Adorable Photo from 2013

The “Hot in Cleveland” alum shared that the photo was taken in 2013, the year after she was honored with getting a star on the iconic sidewalk. In the photo, she wore oversized sunglasses, a white top, jeans, and white sneakers, and she lay on the sidewalk. She smiled and propped her chin on her folded hands, placing her elbows over the top point of the star.

“This is definitely one of those pinch me moments where I can’t quite believe that a simple childhood musing can actually become reality,” Bertinelli wrote.

Bertinelli’s breakout role came with the show “One Day at a Time,” which aired from 1975 to 1984. She began the series when she was just 15 and went on to star in many additional shows, including “Touched by an Angel,” “Hot in Cleveland,” and many others.

When she received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star, Bertinelli was joined by her son, Wolfgang Van Halen, and several of her “Hot in Cleveland” co-stars. Betty White attended, as did Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves, noted hennemusic.

Betty White Provided Valuable Advice to Bertinelli

Bertinelli has frequently talked about her love and adoration for White. Recently, in an Instagram post shared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” page, Bertinelli reflected on what White taught her.

“She really taught me about gratitude. I thought I was grateful. She was just living, breathing gratitude, every second of her life, every moment I was around her.”

According to Bertinelli, that was the most valuable piece of advice she had ever received.

The Hallmark Alum Insists She Never Takes Her Career for Granted

In June, as Bertinelli began filming a new project, she shared additional insight into the gratitude she has for her career. In an Instagram post, she admitted, “Even after 53 years, there’s still an excitement and clarity in it all.”

She continued, “The gratitude and camaraderie I feel to be working with so many talented and lovely artists…is something that just feels like home. I will never ever take any of this for granted.”

Bertinelli’s Heartfelt Post Was a Hit With Her Followers

Colleagues and fans took to the comment section of Bertinelli’s throwback post to note their love for what she had shared.

Faith Ford, who has been both a friend and a colleague of Bertinelli’s for years, commented, “The best! Keep shining bright.”

A fan added, “Keep the positive vibes going!!”

“You shine brightly for us. More importantly you show us how to be a good soul,” another fan wrote.

“We were there in 2023. Still shiny and new,” noted someone else.
