After fending off speculation on the state of their relationship over the last year, Hallmark star Tamera Mowry-Housley and her twin sister, fellow actress Tia Mowry, put to rest any rumors of a rift on July 7, 2025, by posting a series of sweet birthday photos together.
Fans were thrilled to see the duo happily celebrating their 47th together, lifting their wine glasses in the air, in photos Mowry-Housley posted the day after their birthday, captioning her post, “47 came in with full hearts and full glasses. Thankful for Tia, family, and the kind of weekend that reminds you just how good life is. 🥂”
Tia also posted a series of photos on July 7 from their day together, which looked to be spent in California’s Napa Valley, where Mowry-Housley lives with her family.
Fans Excited to See Mowry Twins Together Again: ‘Family Over Everything’
On their actual birthday, July 6, Tia posted two photos of her and her sister with their younger brothers, actor Tajh Mowry and musician Tavior Mowry, writing, “And just like that we are 47 :)”
Mowry-Housley replied, “❤️❤️❤️❤️ What a beautiful day!!!!”

Fans were elated to see the twins together and looking so happy after Mowry had alluded to them barely seeing each other months before, leading to widespread speculation about a rift between the two.

How Rumors of a Rift Between Tamera Mowry-Housley & Tia Mowry Began
Concerns about a rift between the sisters began in September 2024, when Mowry posted the trailer for her new reality series, “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” which premiered in early October on WeTV. The show chronicled her life after divorcing her husband of 14 years, Corey Hardrict, in 2023.
In a clip for the new show, Mowry said she wished she and her twin “were still close and I could, you know, pick up the phone and call her.”
Weeks before, Mowry-Housley said she wouldn’t be appearing in her sister’s reality show because she knew nothing about it until it was publicly announced, telling an “ET” reporter, “I didn’t know until I found out with the rest of the world.”
Those signs of a distance between the twins sent fans reeling, even after Mowry tried to clarify to Us Weekly that her comments were “taken out of context” and that she still had a “beautiful connection” with her twin despite living hours apart with very busy schedules.
