Susan Lucci Makes Big Career Announcement

Soap opera icon and former Hallmark star Susan Lucci has a new project in the works. She made the big announcement in collaboration with “Good Morning America” on April 28, and fans are excited to check it out.


Susan Lucci Is Releasing a New Book

“The Chicken Sisters” guest star Lucci is writing a new book, and it is already available for pre-order. The GMA Book Club Instagram page shared the announcement.

The caption of the Instagram post read, “BIG NEWS 📚 Our friend @therealsusanlucci has written a book! ‘La Lucci’ comes out February 3, 2026 and you can pre-order it NOW on Amazon.”

Lucci appeared in the video to share some additional details. She revealed, “I’m so excited to share a big announcement with you. 15 years after my first book was released, I’m back to share new chapters in my life with my new memoir, ‘La Lucci.'”

She continued, “It’s an intimate glimpse into my life with stories I’ve never told before. This book is directly from my heart. I can’t wait for you to read it.”

“La Lucci” will be available beginning on February 3, 2026.

Lucci’s first book, released in March 2011, was titled “All My Life: A Memoir.”

Fas of Lucci’s were quick to note their enthusiasm in response to her book announcement.

Lucci’s announcement comes three years after the death of her husband, Helmut Huber.

As People shared in March 2022, Lucci and Huber got married in 1969. He died at 84 in Long Island, New York.

At the time of Huber’s death, a family representative gave People a statement. “A family man, he was a loyal friend, and loved them deeply. With a roaring sense of humor, larger-than-life personality, and a practical problem-solver, he lived his life to the fullest.”
