When thousands of pop culture fans descend on San Diego in late July for Comic Con 2025, hoping to interact with their favorite characters and actors, they’ll have a chance to hear from some of Hallmark Channel’s biggest stars including Tyler Hynes, Erin Cahill, and Will Kemp.
On July 24, the “Hallmark Hallsters” panel will also feature Chyler Leigh, B.J. Britt, Holland Roden, Luke Macfarlane, and Heather Hemmens. Hynes, Cahill, and Kemp excitedly shared the news in their Instagram Stories on July 12, with Kemp tagging his Hallmark colleagues and writing, “Who’s joining us on the 24th!?”
Hallmark Stars Will Give ‘Sneek Peeks’ of Upcoming Projects at Comic Con
The hourlong Hallmark Hallsters panel, according to Comic Con’s schedule, “brings together beloved Hallmark stars for a celebration of feel-good fandom. From Countdown to Christmas classics to the latest and newest Hallmark series, fans will get exclusive behind-the-scenes stories, sneak peeks of upcoming projects, and celebrate the joy these films bring to audiences around the world.”
The 1:45 p.m. panel will take place in the Indigo Room at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, moderated by TV Guide’s Damian Holbrook.
Attending Comic Con is old hat for some Hallmark stars, including “The Way Home” star Chyler Leigh, who is a fan favorite not only for her time travel series on Hallmark Channel, but also because of her past starring role on “Supergirl.” Erin Cahill is also a big draw, and attended October’s Comic Con in New York, thanks to the years she spent playing the Pink Power Ranger in the early 2000s.
Hallmark is a Big Draw for Collectors at Comic Con
Hallmark Channel’s presence at Comic Con is relatively new. Jonathan Bennett, who has attended the fan convention many times to promote various projects, attended in July 2024 to promote his new Hallmark unscripted series, “Finding Mr. Christmas.”
But Hallmark as a company has a long history of drawing a crowd at Comic Con, with collectors clamoring for the latest ornaments, pins and other collectibles depicting iconic pop culture characters.
“Fandom is a key driver across our product categories and these fan gatherings give us the perfect stage to celebrate that passion,” Hallmark VP of Global Licensing Meredith McCormick said in a statement.
Hallmark has two booths at Comic Con 2025, with one devoted exclusively to Star Wars memorabilia, where fans can grab a free, different collectible button each day. Its “Hallmark For All Fankind” booth, meanwhile, will feature “pop culture products spanning sci-fi, gaming, anime, and more” including “The Matrix Trinity,” “Superman,” “Minecraft,” and Snoopy.
