With the two-hour finale of Hallmark’s intense “Providence Falls” trilogy premiering on August 16, 2025, fans are clamoring for details on Hallmark Channel’s three-part adaptation of the popular book series by Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets.
Luckily, several stars from the project have been posting behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the shoot, giving fans a glimpse of everything from scene tricks to fun with their co-stars.
Lachlan Quarmby Teased & Paid Tribute to Katie Stevens in ‘Providence Falls’ Behind-the-Scenes Posts
Lachlan Quarmby, an Australian-born actor who plays the time-traveling and lovestruck thief Liam O’Conner in “Providence Falls,” has posted multiple videos on social media, along with adorable commentary, from his adventures shooting in Vancouver and Dublin with the cast, including fellow leads Katie Stevens and Evan Roderick.
In a montage video he shared on August 15, he included a shot of Stevens, who plays lead character Cora McLeod, sitting down in a modern-day scene on a cushion placed on her chair to give her a bit of a lift. In the caption, he Quarmby teased, “The entire Provence of British Columbia almost ran out of booster seats when @thekatiestevens came to town. Luckily we were able to make do.”
On the day of the finale, he also shared a black and white photo of them together in his Instagram Stories and wrote a sweet tribute to her.
He wrote, “Finale day!! Many many people to shoutout and thank and celebrate this wild ride with but I gotta say something bout our Cora. @thekatiestevens is the best. Kind, funny, a friendliness that I can only describe as embracing. Annnd her portrayal of Cora, her work ethic, her care for her character … she’s just so good. She made me a better actor and dare I say a more rounded person. Good luck to Cora tonight, make good choices. 🫡”
‘Providence Falls’ Was Like Filming ‘3 Movies in Ireland,’ Says Lachlan Quarmby
In his first collection of videos from the set in Dublin, posted on August 14, Quarmby wrote, “It may be a ‘3 parter’ but I’m gonna tell my grandkids I made 3 movies in Ireland. So grateful for this shoot. Here’s a slice of how great it was to make part of these movies in the Emerald Isle with these diamonds.”
From gorgeous scenery to pub hopping with the cast and crew, Quarmby’s videos revealed what a blast they all had together. He also shared a hilarious video on how they prepared for their night scenes, from the “body dysmorphia” he suffered to special socks.
Charlie Cavill & Joanna Swisher Also Shared BTS Videos From ‘Providence Falls’
Supporting actor Charlie Cavill, who plays John Brady, shared his own video of behind-the-scenes shots, with scenes from filming in Dublin.
Executive producer Joanna Swisher commented, “The best time ever!”
Swisher, whose new production company was behind the making of “Providence Falls,” also shared a video of footage she shot behind the scenes.
“I’m still pinching myself that we got to bring the Providence Falls trilogy to life,” she wrote in the caption. “Being on set with this incredible cast was such a gift. Their heart, humor, and chemistry made every scene magic.”
Referencing the 2021 Hallmark movie she starred in, “As Luck Would Have It,” Swisher wrote, “This adaptation was so special to me because these stories began as beloved books that I first read while filming a Hallmark movie in Ireland, and watching them transform into something so visually stunning and full of heart was nothing short of surreal. From the first take to the final shot, every moment was filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of movie-making magic. I hope you’re loving the beauty, mystery, and romance of this world we created.”
The third movie, “Providence Falls: Thief of Fate,” premieres on August 16 at 8 p.m. Eastern time, and will be available to stream — along with the first two movies — on Hallmark+ the following day.
