‘My Argentine Heart’ Was Filmed in Buenos Aires, Argentina
The new Winter Escape movie was filmed in Juan Pablo Di Pace’s home country: Argentina. Co-star Julie Gonzalo is also from Argentina and was born in Buenos Aires.
He took to Instagram to share a post with behind-the-scenes photos, writing: “What a gift, working in my beautiful country, with an amazing crew…”
IMDb also has the information that one of the locations where filming took place was the Iguaza Falls (however the proper name is “Iguazu.”)
Iguazú Falls, also known as Iguaçu Falls, are located on the Iguazu River at the border of Misiones in Argentina and the Brazilian state of Paraná. They form the world’s largest waterfall system.
Gonzalo posted “🇦🇷” while in the country. She shared a few scenery photos, showcasing falls while in the country.
In a Facebook Live, Gonzalo shared more about the beautiful filming experience, saying it “truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.”
“The most impressive part is that the entire cast is Argentinian,” she added. “The entire crew is Argentinian, aside from a couple of Canadians and (one) American. Everyone else is from Argentina.”
She added that she was able to speak Spanish with everyone, which she really enjoyed.
“I was raised in an Argentinian house my entire life, I still speak Spanish to my parents … (and the cast) were all relatively close in age,” she shared. “So I think we all had the same upbringing. We had the same foods we love, we had the same music we love.”
Valen Fione posted: “Finished shooting of a movie I loved shooting, surrounded by a talented team and where I learned a lot. I am very grateful. Thank you @tpagencia for accompanying me in every step of my profession. Thank you @castingpabloini @inipablook for trusting me.
Thanks @terryjohningram for choosing me ♥️ Soon I will be able to show pictures of the movie and tell a little more. 🎬”
