“I was going through old home videos last night,” she captioned the throwback video, “and happened to find this SuperBowl commercial from 1988! I didn’t even know I had this tape. It was filmed in our house with my sweet dad for our local tv station. My hair, that sideways hat, my Southern accent…memories! 😂💜”

Chabert’s commercial was for Mississippi’s WDAM-TV, a station serving the Hattiesburg area, where the actress grew up and dabbled in local acting opportunities. According to IMDb, the “An Unexpected Valentine” star was born on September 30, 1982, so she was likely six years old when she filmed the ad with her dad, Tony Chabert.
As he pretends in the background to be engaged in a sporting event on TV, Chabert exclaims in the ad, “My daddy and I watched the Olympics and now we’re watching the World Series, and then the Super Bowl on WDAM Laurel-Hattiesburg. We’ve got it all!”

Lacey Chabert Became a Child Star Shortly After Her Super Bowl Commercial
Chabert’s Super Bowl commercial foreshadowed a bright future in entertainment. In 1991, she was a finalist on “Star Search.” During a 2009 appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” he played a clip from the talent show as she laughed in embarrassment.
After “Star Search,” Chabert moved on to Broadway, where she starred for two years as Young Cossette in Les Miserables. Around the same time, she played Susan Lucci’s daughter Bianca Montgomery for 10 episodes of “All My Children”
