Everything We Know About Season 2 of Lacey Chabert’s TV Show

Hallmark fans are getting more of Lacey Chabert this fall.

As reported by Variety, season 2 of her unscripted series “Celebrations with Lacey Chabert” will premiere September 15 on Hallmark+.

Lacey Chabert’s Hit Hallmark Series Returns for Season 2

The show, which debuted in late 2024, follows Chabert as she surprises deserving kids, families, and community members with parties tailored to their remarkable contributions.

“We’re in the business of joy and heart,” said David Stefanou, Hallmark’s head of unscripted programming in an official statement via Good Housekeeping. “Our shows make people feel good. They offer possibility, transformation, and happiness, and that’s something people could use a little more and why they come to Hallmark.”

Season 2 will reunite Chabert with her party planning team, Lisa Friedman and Marisa Lainer, as they spotlight eight new honorees whose acts of kindness and service have made a lasting impact. Viewers can expect emotional stories, unexpected challenges, and plenty of uplifting moments.

The new season will feature eight episodes filled with heartfelt, one-of-a-kind celebrations honoring everyday heroes.

From Movies to Meaningful Moments

While Chabert is best known for her roles in “Mean Girls,” “Party of Five,” and nearly 50 Hallmark movies, she said “Celebrations” pushed her outside her comfort zone.

“The first day on set, I was actually nervous,” she told Forbes. “I’m so used to having a script, memorizing lines, and I’m used to being the one being interviewed about my projects, and now I was the one doing the interviewing.”

The actress added that the idea for the show had been on her mind for years, saying, “I’ve always had this idea to do a show about throwing parties, because I love entertaining, and I would love to do that for people who really deserve a party.”

Chabert also revealed the unscripted nature of the series often brought surprises. “There were a lot of times when we had to pivot due to something completely unforeseen,” she explained. From last-minute venue changes to unpredictable weather, the production team often had to adapt quickly.

Expanding Her Hallmark Partnership

Beyond “Celebrations,” Chabert is also starring in the upcoming Hallmark holiday film “She’s Making a List” alongside Andrew Walker, reuniting the duo for the first time since 2018’s “My Secret Valentine.”

Her partnership with Hallmark now includes a new holiday product collection debuting in late 2025 at Hallmark Gold Crown Stores and online. Inspired by vintage designs, the collection features greeting cards, gift wrap, and entertaining essentials.
